I've spent over 12 years as a strength & conditioning coach, helping other women feel strong, capable, and in control of their bodies.

But somewhere along the way — while juggling work, motherhood, and trying to keep up in an industry that celebrates younger, leaner, faster — I hit burnout.

At the same time, my body started changing in ways I couldn't explain. My training hadn't changed. My lifestyle hadn't changed. But my body had.

The hot flushes, the brain fog, the anxiety that came out of nowhere, the sleep that stopped working — and a growing feeling of not quite recognising myself anymore. I kept being told it was "just hormones" or "part of getting older." That answer wasn't good enough for me.

I dug into the research from neuroscientists, pelvic health physiotherapists, and psychologists. What I found was this: the real information exists — it's just not being shared in a way that actually helps women.
